Surrogates in Dallas are compensated based on prior experience, the expenses they incur over the course of the pregnancy, and any special requirements outlined in the surrogacy contract. Surrogates receive an initial base pay, typically ranging from about $40,000 to $85,000, based on their pregnancy and surrogacy history and other factors. This is supplemented by regular payments over the next nine months for a variety of medical and logistical expenses. For eligible surrogates with previous experience, GSHC also offers a VIP Surrogate Program, where surrogates can earn up to $120,000 in compensation, plus benefits.
While specific requirements vary slightly from agency to agency, all surrogates in Dallas, Texas, must be physically and mentally fit to carry a pregnancy to term. GSHC requires candidates to undergo medical and psychological evaluations to ensure their suitability for surrogacy, and also maintains strict requirements around age range, overall health status, financial situation, and more.

The surrogacy process in Dallas typically involves several key steps:
GSHC pairs intended parents with surrogates based on matching preferences, personalities, and values. Intended parents will review candidate profiles to learn more about prospective surrogates and identify possible matches before meeting them.
Legal representatives for the intended parents will draw up a legal contract outlining the expectations for the partnership, setting requirements and boundaries for the entire process. The surrogate will review the contract with her own lawyer to ensure she’s comfortable with it before all parties sign the agreement.
Once these legal processes are completed, the surrogate will begin hormone treatments to prepare her body for pregnancy. Embryos are then created and transferred to the surrogate’s uterus.
GSHC supports surrogates throughout the entire pregnancy, and all parties remain in communication throughout the process. Surrogacy contracts specify the delivery hospital, which will be chosen by the surrogate herself; whether the birth will be vaginal or through a planned cesarean section; and the nature of communication between the parties after delivery.
